What you may not know:
Kids Are Common Targets for Identity Theft
Because kids don’t have credit reports or financial histories, their identities are valuable “blank slates” for cybercriminals. Few families monitor their children’s personal information, so it’s easier for scammers to go undetected when using it to take out credit cards and loans. Many victims of child identity theft have no idea that their credit has been damaged until years later when they apply for student loans or jobs.
Let Aura Help You Navigate Online Safety for Your Family
Protecting your family is complicated enough — the additional burdens brought on by the digital age can be impossible for busy parents to navigate alone.
The Aura app does a lot of that work, so you don't have to worry about the elusive aspects of the internet — from inappropriate websites and excessive screen time to identity theft, scams, and malware. Still, no technology can replace important conversations with your children about practicing online safety. Aura’s here to help you navigate that, too.
