Founder and CEO
Hari Ravichandran is the CEO and founder of Aura.
An engineer by training and entrepreneur by nature, Hari has a track record of founding successful businesses in technology and web security. He was previously founder and CEO of Endurance International Group, a publicly traded company he built from a start-up into a global hosting and email marketing company with an enterprise value of approximately $3.5 billion and more than 3,500 employees worldwide.
Hari is named on over 40 approved or pending technology patents, was named Ernst & Young’s 2012 Entrepreneur of the Year (New England), and was also named one of Forbes magazine’s most powerful CEOs 40 and Under in 2014 and 2015.
Hari holds an MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania. He also earned a BS in computer engineering from Mississippi State University and studied Electrical Engineering at Stanford.
Alison Dillon
Chief Strategy Officer
Alison is an experienced strategic leader. Previously, she was Director of Growth Strategy at Endurance International Group where she led go-to-market initiatives for key customer segments and strategic planning for the company’s flagship brands. Prior to Endurance, she was a management consultant focused on PE market diligences and portfolio company strategies, and held a number of roles at Sun Life Financial. Alison holds a BA in Economics, French, and International Studies from Brandeis University.
Alison is responsible for Aura’s long term strategic vision and corporate strategy initiatives, including evaluating key opportunities and operationalizing our big bets.
Blake Cunneen
Head of Corporate Development
Blake is an executive with a track record of successfully building and scaling SaaS businesses. Prior to Aura, Blake was EVP of corporate development at Endurance International. In his nearly 10 years at Endurance, his experience included IP-based deals and the acquisition of Constant Contact, a publicly traded email marketing company purchased for $1.1 billion. Blake also worked in both commercial and investment banking, most recently at Piper Jaffray. He holds a BS in finance from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
At Aura, Blake oversees the company's growth strategy, including acquisitions, partnerships, and M&A transactions and activities.
Gerry Baldwin
General Manager, Employee Benefits
Gerry is a technology executive with 20 years of experience founding, scaling, and growing businesses. Prior to joining Aura, Gerry was GM of the Employer division at Benefitfocus, a provider of cloud-based benefits software solutions. He also held multiple positions at Equifax, leading client services, sales operations and enablement, as well as the healthcare business. An entrepreneur, Gerry founded the technology company eThority, which was acquired by Equifax in 2011. Gerry earned a BS from Clemson University in computer engineering.
As the leader of Aura’s Employee benefits solutions, Gerry is responsible for growing our digital security and identity theft employee benefits business through brokers and employers.
Howard Clabo
Chief Brand and Communications Officer
Howard is a seasoned communications leader. Prior to joining Aura, Howard led communications for Fortune 500 companies including Hewlett-Packard, Applied Materials and FedEx. As SVP, Global Communications at Hewlett-Packard, Howard led communications in support of the largest corporate turnaround in history, the largest corporate separation, creating two $50 billion companies, and the subsequent spin-off and mergers of HPE's Enterprise Services and Software businesses, creating the world's second largest IT services company and sixth largest software company. Howard holds an BA in Political Science from Tulane University.
At Aura, he is responsible for leading communications efforts to position Aura as the leader in digital security.
Kristin Covi
Chief Marketing Officer
Kristin is an experienced marketing leader. Prior to joining Aura, she was head of marketing for Dia&Co, a growth stage subscription retailer, where she re-launched the brand and e-commerce business. She’s also held multiple marketing leadership positions at Web.com and Yodle with prior experience with large direct to consumer brands like American Express, AIG, and Bloomingdale's.
At Aura, Kristin is responsible for developing and driving the Aura brand and consumer go-to-market strategy.
Ryan Toohil
Chief Technology Officer & Head of Platform
Ryan is a hands-on engineering and technology leader. As VP of Engineering at Endurance International Group, he led platform and new product development for a $500 million business unit and the rapid development, testing, and scaling of new solutions as head of technology for new ventures. Ryan holds a BS in computer engineering from Virginia Tech, and is named on multiple patents in the web services space.
As CTO at Aura, Ryan leads the company’s platform, information security, and corporate IT teams.
Dr. Scott Kollins
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Scott Kollins joins Aura with a robust background in clinical psychology and digital health. His career includes significant contributions to the development of digital therapeutics and mental health solutions, with over 200 scientific papers authored and more than $30 million in research funding secured. His role at Aura will be critical in shaping the company's approach and parent understanding of youth safety and mental wellness in the digital era.
Zulfikar Ramzan
Chief Scientist and EVP, Product and Development
As Chief Scientist and CEO of Aura Labs, Dr. Zulfikar Ramzan is helping to drive Aura's innovation agenda focusing on the development of an industry-first AI-driven platform that enables predictive, personalized, and autonomous digital safety experiences for consumers. He previously served on Aura's Board of Directors.
Ramzan joins Aura from RSA where he served as Chief Digital Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Additionally, he served as Chief Product Officer for NetWitness, RSA's threat detection and response business.
Ramzan holds more than 60 granted patents and a PhD in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT.
John Shea
Chief Customer Officer
John Shea brings over a decade of leadership experience in operations, customer success, and organizational transformation across high-growth technology companies. Most recently, Shea served as Vice President of Customer Care at Toast, where he led a global support organization. Prior to Toast, Shea held senior roles at Amazon Robotics and Amazon Pharmacy, where he optimized operations and delivered significant cost savings through advanced automation.
Shea's career also includes leadership roles at Endurance International Group and consulting at Bain & Company. A former Captain in the United States Army, he served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, further developing his leadership and operational skills. Shea holds an MBA in Finance and Economics from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Harvard University.
Brian DeCenzo
Chief Financial Officer
Brian DeCenzo serves as Aura’s Chief Financial Officer, leading global financial planning, analysis, accounting, business analytics and reporting. With a strong background in financial strategy and technology innovation, Brian brings valuable expertise to Aura.
Before joining the team, he held leadership roles at Inxeption, a technology platform for industrial e-commerce, and spent nearly 20 years at Goldman Sachs, primarily in the Investment Banking Division. As a Managing Director in the Technology Investment Banking Group, he specialized in advising internet and software companies, offering strategic insights to fuel business growth. He also served as Chief of Staff to the President and COO and played a key role in establishing both the IBD Innovation Lab, focused on integrating cutting-edge technology into client operations, and the Goldman Sachs HBCU Market Madness program, to support HBCUs and their students.
DeCenzo holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from the University of Notre Dame.
Jim Cash
James E. Robison Professor of Business Administration, Emeritus, Harvard Business School
Dr. Jim Cash is a former board member of General Electric, Microsoft, Sprint, Scientific Atlanta, Wal-Mart, Chubb, State Street Corp, and other Fortune 100 companies, and brings over 30 years of experience to the board as a top academician on technology.
Jim graduated from Texas Christian University with a BS in Mathematics, where he also was an Academic All-American. He received his MS in Computer Science from Purdue University's Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences, and a PhD in Management Information Systems and Accounting from Purdue University's Krannert Graduate School of Management. He is also a James E. Robison Professor and Senior Associate Dean, Emeritus, of the Harvard Business School.
Brian Chang
Managing Director, Technology, Software, Information and Financial Technology, Warburg Pincus
Brian is a managing director at Warburg Pincus, focusing on investments in the Technology, Software, Information, and Financial Technology sectors. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Brian worked at Merrill Lynch in the Media and Telecommunications Investment Banking. He is also on the Board of Directors of Businessolver, Contrast Security, Cyren, eSentire, Neogov, and Procare, and also helped lead investments in BitSight, CrowdStrike, and RS Energy Group.
He received a BS with Distinction in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
Alex Doll
Founder, Managing Member, Ten Eleven Ventures
Alex Doll is a Founder and Managing Member of Ten Eleven Ventures, the first venture capital firm founded to solely focus on investing in digital security.
Before founding Ten Eleven Ventures, Alex co-founded PCP Corporation, was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Khosla Ventures, and held various positions at Embark (The Princeton Review), PeopleSoft, OneID, and Robertsons Stephens. Alex is an active board member or investor at Axis Security, Kasada, NetSPI, Blumira, Cyware, ReliaQuest, and several other software and security companies.
Alex received his MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Management & Technology program with a BS in Systems Engineering from the Moore School and a BS in Finance from the Wharton School.
Robert Downey Jr.
Actor, Producer, Investor, Founder of FootPrint Coalition
Robert is a two-time Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner best known for his performance in the title role of the blockbuster franchise “Iron Man.” Following his record-breaking Marvel tenure, Downey has shifted to writing, producing, and starring in projects under his Team Downey banner, the production company he and his wife Susan launched in 2010.
As an actor, Downey most recently starred in Christopher Nolan's critically acclaimed feature "Oppenheimer,” the highest grossing R-rated biopic of all time, and Max’s unscripted series "Downey's Dream Cars." Downey will next appear in Max’s TV adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, "The Sympathizer," in which he will play an impressive five supporting roles. Upcoming acting projects include Adam McKay’s "Average Height, Average Build" for Netflix and Paramount Pictures’ "Vertigo" remake.
Under Team Downey, he executive produces Netflix's Emmy-winning genre series "Sweet Tooth” and executive produced both seasons of HBO’s Emmy-nominated series "Perry Mason." Last year, Downey starred in and executive produced Netflix’s “Sr.,” the lovingly irreverent portrait of his maverick filmmaker father, Robert Downey Sr., which went on to win NBR’s 2022 “Best Documentary” Award.
Downey has also segued into podcasting with the award-winning series "The Sunshine Place." Simultaneously, he has co-authored the environmental book “COOL FOOD: Erasing Your Carbon Footprint One Bite at a Time,” releasing this January.
Downey's illustrious acting career has amassed over 110 credits, including his Golden Globe-winning performance in "Sherlock Holmes," his Academy Award-nominated role as Richard Attenborough’s “Chaplin," among others. Additionally, he is the founder of FootPrint Coalition (FPC), a business and non-profit focused on the adoption and scaling of sustainable technologies.
Sameer Gandhi
Partner, Accel
Sameer is a partner at Accel, and has led early investments in consumer, cloud, SaaS, and media companies including Dropbox, Spotify, Venmo and Flipkart. Responsible for Accel's investments in Aura, Sameer joined Accel in 2008 and has been a venture investor for more than 20 years.
Sameer graduated from MIT and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Sujay Jaswa
Founding Partner, WndrCo
Sujay is one of Silicon Valley’s leading business innovators. Prior to co-founding WndrCo, he was the Business Founder and CFO of Dropbox from 2010 to 2015, and a principal at New Enterprise Associates, where he was closely involved in investments in Workday, Cloudflare, and Playdom (acquired by Disney). Before that, he worked at Cisco Systems and McKinsey & Company.
Sujay is a Lecturer at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, a Trustee of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, and a Trustee of Global Health Corps. He has a BA in Economics from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Sujay is currently chairman of the board at Aura.
Jeffrey Katzenberg
Founding Partner, WndrCo
Jeffrey is an entrepreneur and entertainment industry executive who has reshaped the media landscape throughout his career. Today, he is a Founding Partner at WndrCo, an investment company focused on supporting founders who are building category-defining companies. Jeffrey has led WndrCo’s investments in Airtable, Frame.io, Quibi, Vise, Placer.ai, NexHealth, Deel, and ID.me.
Prior to WndrCo, Jeffrey co-founded DreamWorks SKG, serving as CEO of DreamWorks Animation, which he grew into the world’s largest animation studio.
Before founding DreamWorks, Jeffrey was Chairman of The Walt Disney Studios, and previously served as President of Production at Paramount Studios.
Jeffery is a donor and board member to many civic organizations, including the American Museum of the Moving Image and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Among his many awards and recognitions, he has received a Palme d’Or from the Cannes Film Festival and the Motion Picture Academy’s Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.
Bruce Lev

Bruce is a Managing Director of Loeb Holding Corporation. Before joining Loeb, he was Vice Chairman and Director of USCO Logistics, and Executive Vice President of Corporate and Legal Affairs of Micro Warehouse.
Bruce is a 1965 graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, and a 1968 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law. He is a member of the Connecticut, Virginia, and Supreme Court bars, and has previously engaged in the private practice of law.
He has served on multiple boards, including Roper Organization, Integral Systems, Flagler Construction, Pittsfield Plastics, and VirtualScopics.
Jamie McJunkin

Jamie McJunkin is a founder and General Partner at Madrone Capital Partners, leading their efforts in sustainability and alternative energy.
He is an active board member at Strava, EXOS, Nixon, Pressed Juicery, the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum, and Protect our Winters. Jamie is also an investor in Stubhub and on the Executive Committee of Wasserman Media Group.
Jamie earned a BA with high honors from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

He has also co-led recent manjor investments in Clearwater Analytics, NetDocuments, Visma WEX, and multiple others.
Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he was with UBS Investment Bank in Financial Sponsors and Mergers and Acquisitions. Chandler received an AB Cum Laude in Economics from Harvard College.

Michael is a co-founder and former CEO at CreditComm, the predecessor to Intersections Inc.
Previously, he served as Managing Director at Loeb Partners Corporation, and has served as a director of CCC Information Services Inc. and BWIA West Indies Airways. Prior to beginning his operational career, Michael was an investment banker with Loeb, Rhoades & Co., and Wertheim & Co. He holds a BBA in Business Administration from Emory University and an MBA from Columbia University.
Todd Gebhart

Todd is a Board Member, security and business advisor, and investor with more than 30 years’ experience in the IT industry
Previously, he served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at McAfee, where he was also Co-President. He was the former CEO of Sellectek, Vice President of Sales at Alaris, and previously worked at IBM.

Jason is CEO of The ReDEF Group, a digital content curation company. Previously, he served as Co-President of Myspace Inc., President of Sling Media, Inc. and Chief Digital Officer of MTV Networks. He has served on the board of directors of Pandora and AdaptiveBlue, is a current board member at MGM and CFY, and is a chairman at the digital advisory group.

Saj-nicole Joni

Saj-nicole Joni, Ph.D. is an accomplished business strategist and confidential CEO advisor, speaker, and author.
She has previously served as an executive at CSC Index and Microsoft and is currently on the Trustee of the New England Conservatory as well as the advisory board of the Simmons School of Management.

Imran is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Verishop, an e-commerce marketplace. Prior to co-founding Verishop, Imran served as Snap Inc.’s Chief Strategy Officer, where he managed the company’s corporate strategy, revenue generation, business operations and partnerships.
Previously, Imran was a Managing Director and Head of Global Internet Investment Banking at Credit Suisse and a Managing Director and Head of Global Internet Research at JPMorgan Chase. He earned his BSBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Denver.
Jim Pursley
President, Hinge Health
Jim is the president of Hinge Health, and a founder and former Chief Commercial Officer for Livongo, which provides digital chronic disease management. Previously he founded Care Innovations, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing; he had a similar role at EosHealth.
Jim has served on the Board of Directors for the Technology Research for Independent Living (TRIL) Centre and as a Commissioner for the Center for Aging Services Technology (CAST).
Scott Wagner
Former CEO and Board Member, GoDaddy
Scott Wagner is the former CEO and Board Member at GoDaddy, where he helped take the company public in 2015. Prior to that, he served at the private-equity firm KKR & Co.
Scott brings extensive experience to Aura’s board in building distinctive experiences and businesses, and he currently serves on the boards of True Wind Capital and Scalefast. Scott was a former strategy and operational consultant at BCG. He studied Economics at Yale University, and obtained his MBA from Harvard Business School.
